Laser reprocessing and repair
One of the problems with high stress equipment such as ion laser systems is that they do fail. For many years, laser failure – including relatively minor component problems – meant the purchase of an expensive replacement tube. In 1983, Cambridge Lasers Laboratories, Inc. was established to provide a cost-effective alternative: reprocessing and repair of gas-ion laser plasma tubes.

Repair of all major ion lasers We repair water-cooled ion lasers manufactured by all major companies, including
 Spectra-Physics, Coherent, and Lexel.
Cambridge has unique facilities for repairing and reprocessing failed ion laser tubes to their original operating condition. Our extensive experience in ion laser refurbishment enables us to handle the widest range of repairs and reprocessing, from simple re-gassing to complete rebuilds of broken or badly damaged laser tubes. During the repair process, all parts are checked and replaced where necessary. |

GUARANTEED RELIABILITY & EXTENDED WARRANTIES
Cambridge undertakes stringent testing of all components and subassemblies, including
 power supplies, during the refurbishment process. We also carry out extensive performance tests on laser tubes.
Today, laser tubes reprocessed four years ago by Cambridge Lasers are still going strong. Thanks to confidence in our service, Cambridge can supply
extended warranties on repaired tubes.
